Internal Assessment
SKBZAPS believes in a continuous assessment process that provides information on the pupils’ learning and progress. It helps in understanding their socio economical needs and acquire perfection in their future.
Kindergarten
A purely skill-based ongoing evaluation pattern is followed in kindergarten to observe the students continuously and evaluate the development of their foundational skills in the various learning areas including life skills. Discussion and Observation make detailed assessments of each child’s progress
The academic year is divided into two terms – April to October and November to March.
Junior (Grades 1-4)
Senior (Grades 5-8)
The Continuous Assessments CAs help identify the progress of the students in academic as well as life skills. There are two CAs in each term followed by End of Term Assessment.
Secondary School Certificate (SSC)
(Grades 9 and 10)
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) is a qualification acknowledging the skills and knowledge of students up to Grade 10. The SSC examinations are comprised of two parts, one administered at the end of Grade 9 (part 1) and the other at the end of Grade 10 (part 2).
The SSC examinations are developed and provided by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)(Grades 11 and 12)
The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is a qualification implemented in the last two years of school. As with the SSC, the examinations are comprised of two parts, one administered at the end of Grade 11 (part 1) and the other at the end of Grade 12 (part 2) by the FBISE.
International Benchmark Tests
The PISA (students of 15 years) & TIMSS (Grades 4 & 8) National Agenda targets are achieved to join hands in this educational endeavor.
