UAE National Day
On the 2nd of December every year, UAE National Day is celebrated with grandeur, gaiety and patriotic fervor throughout the country. The day marks the fateful day when the United Arab Emirates achieved freedom from British rule and the union of the federation of the seven emirates on December 2, 1971. The UAE National Day is a time to celebrate the rich history and the diversity of cultures that make up this great nation.
Our School celebrated 52nd UAE National Day on 28th and 29th November 2023 with great zeal and zest. The students of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab Pakistan School along with their faculty members celebrated the spirit of patriotism and nationalism. A colorful program was organized by the students on two consecutive days:

UAE Flag Day
On 3rd November 2023, SKBZAP School celebrated UAE Flag Day with great enthusiasm. The staff along with students, gathered in the ground and conducted the ceremony. The flag was hoisted and National Anthem of UAE was played with great reverence. The students gathered in the ground and expressed their reverent love for Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and their respect for UAE flag. It was a kaleidoscopic panorama of colour, festivity and devotion. Students were carrying flags, buntings and flag-coloured balloons. The air scented with love and enthusiasm. It was indeed an occasion to show love to the motherland and reaffirm the loyalty towards the nation.
UAE Commemoration Day
On 30th Nov 2023, students of SKBZAP School observed Commemoration Day with great reverence. The event, also known as Martyrs’ Day, is held every year to recognize the dedication and sacrifices of the UAE’s military and civilian service people. Ceremonies and events are organized by local governments in observance of Commemoration Day. In every Emirate and every city, there are remembrances of the martyred heroes and their acts of heroism. Both Emirati citizens and the large expatriate community are invited to participate in these tributes. Their courage and sacrifice will inspire future generations and their memory will live forever in the history of the UAE.
To pay homage to the heroes of the nation, all the students, teachers and Section Heads of BSG, SSG & Junior Section assembled in the School Assembly Ground and observed “One Minute Silence” at 11.30 a.m.
After that, the National Anthem of the UAE was played and the flag was hoisted at half-mast.
Reading Week
Reading Week at our school was a delightful celebration of literacy, imagination and the joy of books. Throughout the week, students immersed themselves in a world of stories, adventures and knowledge through a variety of engaging activities. From cozy reading corners and book swaps to author visits and storytelling sessions, there was something for every reader to enjoy. Teachers and librarians curated a diverse selection of books to cater to different interests and reading levels, encouraging students to explore new genres and discover new favorites. Reading Week not only fostered a love for reading but also promoted critical thinking, creativity and empathy among students. It was a week filled with inspiration, discovery and leaving students eager to continue their reading adventures long after the week had ended.
Arabic Week
At our school, Arabic Week was a vibrant celebration of culture, language and traditions. Throughout the week, students and staff immersed themselves in the rich heritage of Arabic language through a variety of engaging activities and events. From Arabic language competition and calligraphy demonstrations to cultural performances and traditional cuisine tastings, everyone participated whole heartedly. Students had the opportunity to learn about the history and significance of Arabic culture, deepen their understanding of the language and forge connections with their peers from diverse backgrounds. Arabic Week served as a reminder of the beauty and diversity of our global community, fostering mutual respect and appreciation for different cultures among students and staff alike.
Math Mania
Math’s Week at our school was an exhilarating celebration of numbers, problem-solving, and mathematical exploration. Throughout the week, students engaged in a wide range of activities designed to ignite their curiosity and passion for mathematics. From exciting math challenges and puzzles to interactive programs and competitions, there was something for every student to enjoy. Teachers led inspiring discussions on the practical applications of math in everyday life and its importance in various fields of study. Students also had the opportunity to showcase their mathematical creativity through projects and presentations. Math’s Week sparked a sense of excitement and discovery, encouraging students to embrace the beauty and versatility of mathematics beyond the classroom.
Sports Week
Our school hosted various sports during sports week. The event was inaugurated by our principal and was attended by all the students and faculty members. Students took part in various sports events such as Throw ball, Basketball, Tug of War, Athletics, Football and Table Tennis, etc. Overall, the week-long event was a grand success with maximum participation and infinite enthusiasm shown by all the participants. A prize distribution ceremony was organized in the school auditorium.

Our school was registered in December 2023 in the ERGA program under ADPHC and ADEK. Under this program the school got the opportunity to attend various workshops in different schools and had outdoor visits to understand environmental issues. In school we have organized various awareness campaigns and celebrated days.
